Every volunteer and staff person who works with young people at Trinity has been trained through the "Safeguarding God's Children" curriculum and has received a background check. The safety and well being of our children is of primary importance.

Children's Sunday School

Pre-school and elementary grade children (3 year olds-5th grade) learn about God and God's relationship with humanity through the Workshop Rotational Model. The children experience the stories of Scripture by participating in Cooking, Art, Drama, Music and Movement, Movies, and Games. Class begins at 9:15 each Sunday morning.

Children's Chapel

During our 10:30 worship service, children ages 3 years-2nd grade are invited to participate in a Children's Chapel. Children's Chapel participants are invited to meet at the back of the Nave prior to 10:30. They will then process together to the front pew as a group (with the main procession) and remain in the nave until time for the Scripture readings. At that point, they are excused to attend Children's Chapel. The service is led by rotating teams of parents and our Spiritual Formation Director. Their service follows the Workshop Rotational Method focusing on various stories and times throughout the liturgical calendar through hands on projects in the Kitchen, Art, Drama, Music and Movement, Games, and Movie Rooms. At the conclusion of their worship, children return to the Nave in time to share Eucharist with their family.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School at Trinity is a week-long, all-day camp filled with activities and crafts, and of course, music, games, snacks, and service projects. The 65-acre Trinity Conference Center provides the beautiful setting for the camp. All activities center around a theme, and love for God and biblical truths are taught in creative and fun ways. The camp is open to kindergarten through 5th graders (3 and 4-year olds can attend in the mornings), and teenagers assist in the care and instruction of the children. Children bring their lunch; snacks and drinks are provided. Singing, crafts, and fun activities - what better way is there to show kids the love of God! The camp is provided free of charge as a ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church and each participant receives a t-shirt.
